Is it an upgrade to the roster?
If they mean that he is better than players already on the roster like pritch and elston then i sort of laugh at that notion.
How many times have these guys seen lsu on tv?
I try to watch all of the basketball that i can and i maybe saw lsu 2 or 3 times last year.
Maybe there is some guru on the board that was familiar with green and knows a ton about his game, but i am betting not.
More likely it is a case of people propping up a kid just because he is looking at iu.
Is he capable of being an upgrade over those guys?
It remains to be seen though.
The big ten is a different beast than the sec and he has basically been a role player that will have to get adjusted to a new system and a new set of teammates.
I am excited about the possibility of adding the kid because, again, there is no downside.
He could grow into a role on this team, but there will likely be a long adjustment period before he starts adding to the win column.
