home depot carpet install::Anyone else have issues?
In october of 2007, we had our entire home recarpeted.
We purchased the extended 3 year cleaning warranty as well.
Within the first year of installation, we used one of our cleanings.
We were having company and wanted to make sure all was well.
They came, cleaned, scotchguarded.
It progressively got worse, to a point where it actually peaks in one of the rooms.
I went back to the hd and they sent one of the guys from the installation company they use to come and see if it was in fact an improper install.
Imagine my surprise when he said it was done correctly!
Honestly, he could have come and cleaned the carpet and left.
Not caring about our home at all.
Have any of you out there had this problem?
If so, was there anything done about it?
